Our client, a leading security and facility services company, is currently seeking to recruit Product Support Engineers to join their team in Belfast.

Salary and Working Hours:

• Day shift: £29,724 (Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:30)
• Night shift: £41,600 (Monday - Thursday, 15:00 - 02:00)

The roles are temporary ongoing.

The role:

• Provide system programming and commissioning services across Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarm, Intercom, and Body Worn Camera systems, in line with pre-planned rollout plans.
• Offer 'go live' support to installation and commissioning teams, including acceptance testing to ensure systems are operational and compliant.
• Provide technical reference services to project engineers on third-party systems.
• Test remotely viewable CCTV systems to ensure they meet performance parameters according to BS8418.
• Stay updated with various third-party technology products through self-learning and training.
• Produce clear and well-written technical documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of technical issues in the fault recording system.

Criteria:

• Experience with Access Control, Intruder Alarms, and/or CCTV systems at an engineering level.
• Experience with remote diagnostics via phone or remote access.
• Good PC skills.
• Understanding of electrical/electronics principles.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to produce structured reports and instructions.
