Job Description:

Do you bring a proven track record driving the commercial & GTM strategy for a Product/Portfolio within Genomic Applications or Diagnostics? Do you drive an ownership mindset, with a passion to see your portfolio grow?

If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Product Management Team as an Associate Director / Senior Manager, Product Management for our Hereditary Cancer applications, and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Ideally, you will be in proximity to our Switzerland (Rolle) Corporate office on a hybrid work-schedule; however, suitably qualified candidates can be considered on a remote basis across the UK and EU5. Due to high collaboration and team structure within Europe, this role would not suit someone working remotely from the US West Coast or Central US.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Application Product Management, you will help lead the strategic direction and execution for hereditary cancer product lines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success in a competitive market. This role could likely support someone in International Product Marketing looking to make their first step into Product Management.

The value you'll add

  • Portfolio Simplification: Drive clarity and focus across the Hereditary Cancer portfolio by identifying opportunities to streamline offerings and reduce complexity based on latest clinical guidelines and testing approaches.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution: Lead GTM planning and execution for existing products within the HCS Portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial goals and regional needs.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Build strong cross-functional relationships and confidently align diverse stakeholders around portfolio and GTM priorities.
  • Commercial Enablement: Equip sales and marketing teams with the tools, messaging, and insights needed to drive adoption and revenue growth of hereditary cancer portfolio.
  • Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, from new product ideation to phase-out, optimising performance and commercial impact at each stage.

Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience across Product Management, Portfolio Strategy Management or Product Marketing for a diagnostics product or portfolio.
  • Direct knowledge of Diagnostic Applications is critical. You will be familiar with the NGS Diagnostics market, customer needs and trends coupled with an understanding of hereditary cancer testing, clinical routine testing, and associated guidelines.
  • You'll have direct working experience partnering with sales, driving commercial enablement and GTM messaging for NGS Applications or similar genomics diagnostic products.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • BSc, MSc, or equivalent in a relevant scientific or technical field.

As a public organisation facing ongoing commercial growth, you will bring a success-oriented and solutions-focused mindset that embraces team collaborations, change, growth, and inclusion.

As an international organisation, English is our primary business language. You should include your CV in English. Non-English CVs are likely to be rejected at application stage.

You will be joining an organisation with the patient at the heart of every decision and action, driven by purpose as we pursue exponential growth.
