The Opportunity

If you are an ex-accountant with a passion for technology and practice transformation, you could be our ideal Product Specialist. You will leverage your practice experience to influence our product roadmap and serve as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the practice management product roadmap with clear ROI metrics, guiding our product’s strategic direction.
• Conduct customer research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions, engaging with stakeholders and users to gather insights.
• Manage relationships across Engineering, Sales, Support, and Partners to ensure alignment.
• Prioritize and maintain the product backlog aligned with business goals.
• Collaborate with product owners and UX designers to ensure specifications meet standards.
• Lead go-to-market strategies and product launches to ensure successful market entry.

Deliverables

• 12-month product roadmap with prioritized features and business cases.
• Market and competitor analysis reports.
• Customer research insights and requirements documentation.
• Go-to-market execution plans.
• Regular stakeholder communications and progress updates.
• Product performance tracking and ongoing optimization.

The Person

• 3+ years of experience in a product specialist or related role.
• Experience working within an accountancy practice and familiarity with practice management software.
• Proven experience implementing software in practice environments, understanding integration within an accounting tech stack.
• Knowledge of agile development practices is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
