As the Product Owner & Business Analyst for TechnologyOne's UK HR & Payroll, you'll deliver the strategic direction of a modern, cloud-native platform that's transforming how councils and universities manage their workforce.

This is more than roadmap management - it's about creating intelligent, AI-driven payroll automation that replaces outdated, error-prone processes. You'll work at the forefront of innovation, embedding regulatory intelligence, streamlining compliance, and delivering frictionless payroll operations at scale.

If you're currently navigating legacy systems, consultancy roadmaps, or patchwork automation - this is your chance to drive real change, reduce payroll risk, and lead a product that's redefining trust in public sector payroll.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Be a thought leader in the UK payroll domain, with a strong emphasis on regulatory impacts, change, and market trends affecting Local Government and/or Education sectors.
• Actively engage with customers, consulting, sales and support to gather market intelligence and customer feedback to inform global product design.
• Lead customer forums and industry events, contributing thought leadership and gathering direct insights from HR and Payroll Professionals to inform the product strategy in Local Government and Education.
• Work across time zones to ensure regional priorities are effectively scoped and delivered.
• Lead internal change activities to support new capabilities - enabling consulting, presales, and customer success teams with product awareness and knowledge.
• Drive external product awareness with customers and industry partners, ensuring clear communication of roadmap direction and product enhancement timelines.

What We're Looking For:

• You will have managed UK HR and Payroll product functions, or held product leadership roles in sales, consulting, or enterprise payroll transformation programs.
• Deep understanding of HR and Payroll complexity in UK Local Government, particularly Unitary Councils, and/or Higher Education institutions.
• Proven ability to engage with customers to gather requirements, deliver presentations and manage customer expectations.
• Experience and understanding of regional data privacy requirements for management of people data.
• Strong commercial acumen, with a focus on delivering customer value.
• A passion for technology and a drive to improve user experiences, with experience of defining and delivering Artificial Intelligence automation for People Management processes.
