Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join a growing legal services firm undergoing a significant digital transformation and technology consolidation programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Product Owner to take ownership of a business critical case management system, driving its development and implementation across multiple regional offices.

Working closely with business stakeholders, business analysts, developers and testing teams, you will manage the product backlog, prioritise requirements and oversee delivery to ensure the system meets the evolving needs of the business. Experience working within the legal sector and familiarity with legal case management systems, particularly Clio Operate (ShareDo), would be advantageous.

This role would suit someone with strong stakeholder management, agile delivery and project coordination skills who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise the product backlog, translating business requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Work closely with business analysts to capture, refine and manage stakeholder requirements across the organisation.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master to facilitate agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
• Act as the key link between business stakeholders, development teams and programme governance.
• Manage delivery milestones, dependencies and risks across multiple implementation workstreams.
• Work with configuration and development teams to scope, test and release new functionality.
• Collaborate with QA and testing teams to agree test coverage and ensure releases are ready for go-live.
• Coordinate with data migration teams to support the successful migration of case management data.
• Support system implementations, go-live activities and post-launch support across multiple sites.
• Provide regular updates on progress, risks and key decisions to programme leadership and relevant stakeholders.

About You

You will be an experienced Product Owner who can balance strategic priorities with hands on delivery, bringing structure and clarity to complex technology projects.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience in a Product Owner or similar product delivery role.
• Experience managing product backlogs, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
• A strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working collaboratively with business analysts, developers, QA teams and wider business stakeholders.
• Strong project coordination skills, including managing dependencies, delivery milestones and risks.
• Experience supporting software implementations, system rollouts and go-live activities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• A proactive, organised and delivery-focused approach.
