Job summary

Sofidel UK invites a proactive Product Office Assistant to join our Baglan site. You will craft technical product documents, support new product creation, and manage product layouts and supplier relations with a focus on cost and efficiency.

You will also collaborate with Production and Process teams to improve materials and palletizing, generate daily performance reports in Excel, and uphold corporate principles in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment is desirable.
• A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills, teamwork and leadership capability.
• Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, data formatting) to generate, clean, and analyze daily performance and status reports.
• Knowledge of or a strong willingness to learn ERP systems and technical documentation workflows.

Responsibilities

• Create the technical documents of the product, raw and auxiliary materials and ensure their permanent updating.
• Coordinate with the Group Operating Process Office to support new product creation, providing cost elements for Marketing & Sales.
• Check, develop, manage and modify layout, decorations and technical characteristics of the finished product and its wrap.
• Manage relationships with flexographer and printer suppliers.
• Collaborate with Production Manager to continuously improve products, materials and palletizing systems.
• Ensure efficient management of reference reporting.
• Create production batches and verify production quantities and raw material usage.

PURPOSE

Elaborate and maintain the technical specifications and bills of material of the finished product for production.

Main Responsibilities

• Create the technical documents of the product, of raw and auxiliary materials and ensure their permanent updating
• In coordination with the Group Operating Process Office, manage the activities related to the creation of new products, providing the Marketing & Sales Area elements on the production cost
• Check, develop, manage and modify the lay out, decorations and technical characteristics of the finished product and its wrap
• Manage relationships with flexographer and printer suppliers
• Collaborate with the Production Manager to the permanent improvement of products, materials and of the products palletizing system
• Guarantee an efficient management of the reference reporting
• Create the production batches
• Check the production amounts made and the raw materials used
• Apply the Corporate Principles and Values
