Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a Product Manager for stores to own branch and teller operations, delivery, and in-store customer servicing. You will shape how cash and transaction journeys are executed at the counter, working closely with engineering and risk teams.

You will translate strategy into squad-level goals and ensure alignment with enterprise priorities while delivering high-value customer outcomes in a highly regulated retail banking environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Manager or Product Owner in a regulated environment.
• Proven ability to gather requirements quickly and refine them.
• Experience delivering products in live branch environments with complex transactions.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and delivery roadmap for stores including cash and cheque transactions.
• Shape solutions for cash handling and foreign exchange at the counter.
• Translate strategy into squad-level outcomes and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise work balancing customer value, business impact, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as the primary product manager for the stores squad and manage dependencies across squads.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Operations, Risk and Compliance to ensure viable, secure solutions.
