Job summary

Metro Bank is seeking a senior Product Lead to shape and deliver the strategy for Business Current Accounts. You will own a portfolio of accounts, drive commercial performance and partner with senior stakeholders across the business to launch innovative solutions that deliver customer value and growth.

You will lead data-driven decision making, oversee business cases and ensure strong risk management while staying ahead of market trends through in-depth research and competitive analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience taking products from insight/concept to launch and ongoing optimisation.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability with forecasting.
• Confident decision-maker balancing customer needs, objectives and risk.
• Excellent communicator who can influence senior stakeholders.
• Coaching and mentoring product teams, embedding best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, development and optimisation of Business Current Account propositions.
• Shape and launch new products while enhancing existing offerings to drive value and growth.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Distribution, Marketing, Operations and Risk to deliver outcomes.
• Own business cases, track performance metrics and maximise benefits through data-driven decisions.
• Take responsibility for a portfolio of Business Current Accounts and lead deposits initiatives.
• Drive commercial performance, customer experience, risk management and long-term planning.
• Act as the Business Current Accounts SME, influencing change across the organisation.
• Stay ahead of market trends and customer needs through research and competitor analysis.
