Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a hands-on Product Manager for Flooring and Adhesives within a UK-based manufacturing environment. The role, based in Staffordshire, blends office work with hybrid arrangements and links technical, manufacturing and purchasing functions to strengthen the product portfolio.

You will lead lifecycle management, propose new products, monitor market trends and support launches, reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Product Manager with experience in flooring or adhesives.
• Strong commercial, organisational and analytical capabilities.
• Experience bridging technical, manufacturing and purchasing functions.
• Exposure to technical consumables or manufacturing environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review products through lifecycle from concept to withdrawal.
• Develop proposals for new products and launch programmes.
• Monitor competitor products, market trends and pricing.
• Carry out regular market analysis to assess competition and economic indicators.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, technical information and packaging data.
• Take responsibility for packaging requirements and future packaging developments, ensuring brand alignment.
• Support promotional activity and use data to assess effectiveness.
