Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD, based in Staffordshire, seeks a hands-on Product Manager to join the Marketing Department and bridge technical, manufacturing and purchasing functions. This role is office-based and/or hybrid, with a focus on developing a compact but effective product portfolio and leading a small team.

You will report to the Marketing Communications Manager and drive product development, lifecycle management and market responsiveness, ensuring strong collaboration across departments

Qualifications

• Experience in product development and life-cycle management.
• Strong collaboration across engineering, manufacturing and purchasing.
• Commercial mindset with data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Manage products through their lifecycle from concept to withdrawal.
• Develop proposals for new products and supporting launch programmes.
• Monitor competitor products, market trends, pricing, promotions and distribution.
• Carry out market analysis to assess competition and economic indicators.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, technical information and packaging data.
• Oversee packaging requirements and alignment with brand standards.
• Support promotional activities and use data to assess impact.
