Job summary

Hackajob Ltd. is seeking a Platform Product Manager for HR & Payroll services, focusing on APIs and scalable architecture. You will build for diverse personas including product teams, accountants, partners, and developers, and deepen partner integrations.

Work closely with Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Go-to-Market teams to shape the roadmap, ensure regulatory alignment, and drive growth with an emphasis on AI-enabled productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of product management experience, preferably in HR, payroll, or compliance-heavy domains.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, regulatory requirements and customer insight for decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in AI and applying it to improve product capability and team productivity.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, platform services, partner ecosystems, or embedded software.
• Familiarity with payroll, tax, or employment law compliance across markets.
• Experience with product-led growth and usage-driven prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Own HR & Payroll domain services as a platform product manager, focusing on APIs and scalable architecture.
• Develop for a broad set of personas including product teams, accountants, partners, and developers.
• Understand payroll domain services architecture, roadmap, and partner integrations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Data, Compliance, and Go-to-Market teams and support partner ecosystem.
• Contribute to HR & Payroll services roadmap balancing compliance, partner needs, scalability, and growth.
• Engage with partners and customers to validate assumptions and identify gaps.
• Translate requirements into measurable outcomes for the team.
• Contribute end-to-end to the embedded payroll services roadmap.
• Align compliance priorities with the team and reflect AI-driven productivity opportunities.
• Measure success via adoption, revenue, retention, roadmap quality, partner satisfaction, and feature briefs.
