We are looking for a high agency Product Manager - Consumer Experience. This is an opportunity to own the end-to-end journey of discovery, purchase, and entry within a fast-scaling, product-first team where your ideas have a direct, visible impact on the global event landscape.
This is a new role that will enable you to own, shape and grow it!
Our client champions smarter ticketing to make ticket buying better. They don’t just sell tickets; they connect millions of fans with unforgettable live experiences. From massive music festivals and high-energy club nights to comedy tours, food & drink pop-ups, and community gatherings, they are the engine behind the UK’s most diverse events. With over 10 million page impressions each month and 30%+ year-on-year growth, they are scaling fast.
This is a new role, created to own the customer-facing side of the marketplace. Your mission is to own the full-stack consumer journey, from how fans find them in the first place through to the loyalty that turns one-off buyers into lifelong fans. As the business grows, you will shape how the digital product supports that growth and lead the thinking on what we build to get there.
This is a broad role and that is deliberate. A big part of the job is choosing where in the funnel to focus and using AI as a force multiplier to cover more ground than the size of the team would normally allow.
We know that is a broad brief. If you are strong on the fundamentals and close on some of the rest, we would rather talk to you than not. What matters most is commercial judgement, agency, and evidence of driving work through to a measurable result.
Own the full-stack consumer journey, from how fans discover them through search and off-platform reach, to the discovery algorithms that help them find events, to mobile-first checkout and the digital wallet.
Set the consumer product direction. Identify the opportunities worth pursuing, size what they are worth, and decide what we build and what we deliberately leave alone, working with the wider business as its plans develop.
Own the metrics and champion a data-informed culture. Define what success looks like, set the targets, get tracking in place before you build, and use A/B testing and proxy metrics to prove that what ships adds measurable value.
Remove friction from the buying journey and drive long-term loyalty, building features that personalise the experience and make it easy for fans to follow the artists, venues and promoters they love.
Improve the experience beyond the purchase, including entry, scanning and accessibility, using what our Customer Support teams see every day to decide what is worth fixing.
Shape commercial requests before they become requirements. Partner with Marketing, Data, Business Development and the exec team on the underlying commercial problem, propose smarter or faster routes to the same outcome, and negotiate trade-offs as a peer.
Find the right shape of the solution. Work with the CTO and engineering to make sure the technical approach is sound, then land on an MVP that solves the problem without over-engineering it. Getting value in front of fans early matters more than shipping the whole thing at once.
Own the User Experience. We run lean with no dedicated design resource, so you will take the lead on the user experience and shape the interface hands-on alongside our Front-End Developers, using AI tools to generate visual ideas and prototypes quickly and win internal buy-in.
Bring the voice of the fan into the business by analysing user journeys, running lightweight experiments, and getting out into the field to see how fans use our tech at real events.
Set the priorities for development. Work with our Agile Delivery Manager and the engineering team to agree what goes into a sprint and why, while the team owns how it gets built.
We are looking for an individual who is genuinely passionate about the events industry and thinks like a fan. You should be driven by a desire to create a frictionless purchase experience and understand that a seamless journey is what keeps fans coming back to us. You will thrive in a small-company environment where your voice is heard, your ideas have a direct impact, and there is a genuine openness to new ways of working.
A key part of this role is the ability to influence and convince; you should be as comfortable pitching a new discovery feature to the board as you are discussing technical constraints with a developer. Good ideas come from across the business and the best outcomes come from pulling those together, so we want someone who leads that conversation and lands a decision people are behind.
In return for your commitment and enthusiasm, you can look forward to excellent working conditions in a progressive and growing company. The client has a friendly informal and lively culture, where everyone is trusted to take ownership of their workload. You’ll be challenged but rewarded by working for this evolving business, where you’ll enjoy team outings, charity fundraising activities and going to events.
