Job description

Working pattern: Full-time, Hybrid role that is office-based & work from home up to 2 times a week. The role also involves working on-site at festivals, concerts and club shows, including selected evenings and weekends.

Contract: 1-year fixed-term contract, with scope to become a permanent position.

About the Role

New Vision Events is one of the UK's fastest-growing independent event promoters, producing festivals, concerts and club shows across the country.

We welcome more than 180,000 customers to our events each year, with a diverse portfolio spanning electronic music festivals and live concerts in iconic locations and collaborations with some of the UK's biggest entertainment brands.

We are looking for a Marketing Executive to join our growing team and help deliver marketing campaigns across our portfolio of events.

Reporting directly to the Company Directors and working alongside our existing Marketing Executive, you will play a key role throughout the full event marketing lifecycle — from the first sign-up campaign and event launch through to ticket sales, show-day content and post-event marketing.

This is a hands‑on role offering exposure to the entire event marketing process. You'll work across campaign strategy, social media, paid advertising, email and CRM, content creation, creative briefing, brand partnerships, reporting and live event marketing.

As a lean and ambitious team, we move quickly, encourage new ideas and give people the opportunity to take real ownership of their work. We're looking for someone who shares that mindset and wants to develop alongside the business.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for an ambitious marketing all-rounder with a genuine interest in music, festivals and live events.

You’ll be creative but commercially minded, understanding that great marketing needs to build strong event brands, engage audiences and ultimately drive ticket sales.

You’ll be comfortable managing multiple campaigns and deadlines at once, taking ownership of projects and bringing forward new ideas. You’ll also need to be adaptable, particularly during busy event periods when priorities can move quickly.

A positive and collaborative attitude is essential. You’ll work closely with the wider team as well as artists and agents, venues, designers, photographers, videographers, sponsors and external event partners.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Plan and deliver multi-channel marketing campaigns across our portfolio of festivals, concerts and club shows, covering the full event lifecycle from initial sign-up and launch through to on-sale, campaign maintenance, event delivery and post-event marketing.
  • Lead on email and CRM marketing across our portfolio, planning and delivering campaigns including sign-up journeys, event announcements, pre-sales, ticket launches, sales updates, customer communications and post-event campaigns.
  • Manage and develop our customer databases, using segmentation and audience insights to deliver more relevant communications, increase engagement and support ticket sales across the portfolio.
  • Support with paid social campaigns across Meta and other relevant platforms, briefing creatives and supporting with reporting
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity across multiple event brands, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
  • Create detailed campaign calendars and social media timelines around key moments including sign-up launches, artist announcements, ticket releases, event information and show days.
  • Coordinate event launches, ensuring marketing assets and information are distributed effectively across the internal team, artists and agents, venues, sponsors and event partners.
  • Brief designers on artwork, digital assets, paid advertising creative and other campaign requirements, ensuring creative is delivered accurately and on time.
  • Develop multiple creative concepts and variations with designers in line with relevant social media trends for paid advertising campaign and organic socials.
  • Produce campaign reports covering major announcements, ticket on-sales, paid advertising, email/CRM, social performance and event activity, communicating key insights to the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Use campaign data and performance insights to identify opportunities and inform future marketing decisions.
  • Play an active role on event days, including managing photographers, videographers and content creators, overseeing social media coverage and capturing original content for future promotional campaigns.
  • Help build and develop both existing and future New Vision Events brands, contributing ideas around positioning, audiences, content and creative direction.
  • Create User generated content for upcoming shows.
Skills & Experience

We're interested in people who can demonstrate a combination of the following:

  • Previous experience in a marketing, social media or digital marketing role, ideally within music, events, entertainment, culture or a related industry.
  • A genuine knowledge of and passion for music, festivals and live events.
  • Experience using social media professionally, particularly Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, with a strong understanding of how content and audiences differ between platforms.
  • Experience with email marketing or CRM platforms and an understanding of database segmentation, campaign planning and customer journeys.
  • Experience with Meta Ads Manager and an understanding of paid social campaign set-up, audiences, creative testing and optimisation would be highly advantageous.
  • A good understanding of marketing performance metrics and the ability to use data to inform future campaigns.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to adapt tone of voice across different brands and audiences.
  • A creative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas rather than simply execute briefs.
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage several campaigns, projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • An interest in content creation, including short-form video, UGC and graphic design.
  • Experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut and Adobe Creative Suite would be advantageous.
  • Highly motivated, with a strong desire to learn, develop and take on increased responsibility.
  • Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to develop within a growing independent events company and wants to make a genuine contribution to the events and brands they work on.
Why Join New Vision Events?
Exposure to the entire event marketing process

Unlike marketing roles that focus on one specific channel, you’ll gain hands‑on experience across the complete lifecycle of an event. From launching the first sign‑up campaign and building an audience to driving ticket sales, delivering content on‑site and creating the post‑event campaign, you’ll see how every part of the marketing strategy comes together.

Real ownership and responsibility

We’re a lean and ambitious team, which means you’ll have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of campaigns rather than simply supporting them. You’ll work directly with Company Directors and have your ideas heard, tested and implemented.

Work across a diverse portfolio of live events

You’ll work across electronic music festivals, live concerts in iconic locations, club shows and collaborations with established music and entertainment brands, giving you experience across different audiences, genres and marketing strategies.

Develop a broad marketing skillset

You’ll gain hands‑on experience across social media, paid advertising, email and CRM, content, creative, partnerships, data and live event marketing — providing an opportunity to develop into a well‑rounded event marketer.

Be part of a growing independent promotions team

New Vision Events is continuing to expand its portfolio, giving you the opportunity to develop with the company, take on increased responsibility and contribute to the creation and growth of future event brands.

We also offer:
  • Hybrid working, with the option to work from home up to 2 days per week.
  • Time off in lieu for agreed weekend and event‑day working.
  • Tickets to selected New Vision Events shows for friends and family.
  • A 1-year initial contract with scope to develop into a permanent position.
