Job description

Montu UK’s mission is to make high-quality, plant-based therapies easier to access, while setting new standards in safety, clinical excellence and patient experience so that many more people can benefit from personalised treatment options.

As Product Manager, you will work across business functions to specify and deliver software solutions which sustain Montu UK's rapid growth, while maintaining an unswerving focus on the quality of our patient-care. You will recognise opportunities to innovate, aligning strategy with the day to day requirements of our internal teams. You will work across every aspect of the business, from patient engagement to dispensing and dispatch. You will interact with stakeholders at every level, collating their insights and expertise to generate a roadmap which drives the business forward.

Embedded within the engineering team, you will collaborate with a small group of gifted and supportive developers, UX, and Product specialists. Collectively, we deliver quality technical solutions at a rapid pace.

Key Responsibilities
Product Leadership
  • Strategic Roadmap Ownership: Devise, maintain and represent the product roadmap, ensuring its alignment with strategic objectives, stakeholder needs, and the needs of our rapidly growing patient and operational base.
  • Prioritisation: Drive the prioritisation of product features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business value, user needs, strategic objectives, and risk.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster a supportive, collaborative, and results-oriented culture within the dedicated engineering, UX, and Product team, ensuring seamless execution and continuous improvement.
Engagement & Influence
  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation; including marketing, operations, clinical services, pharmacy and executive leadership.
  • Effective Communication & Influence: Develop and deliver clear, compelling product strategies, roadmaps, and progress updates to both technical and non-technical internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and influencing key decisions across the business.
  • Supportive Team Player: Act as a constructive and supportive partner to developers and UX/Designers, providing clear direction, removing blockers, and championing a collaborative environment where every team member is valued and empowered to deliver high-quality solutions.
Product Development
  • Opportunity Identification: Lead the discovery and prioritisation of new product opportunities through data analysis, market research, and user feedback.
  • Innovative Solutions: Apply first principles thinking and analytical rigor to identify root causes and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from discovery to post-launch monitoring; ensuring successful delivery and demonstrably positive outcomes.
Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Analytics: Working with our in-house BI team, utilise data to challenge assumptions, generate recommendations, and drive informed actions.
  • Measurable Outcomes: Devise the metrics which will measure post-launch outcomes and guide future planning.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven experience in product management, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products throughout their lifecycle.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decisions and solve complex problems. Able to provide examples of evidence-led product development.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability to develop and implement product strategies that align with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MSc, MBA, or advanced degree is a plus.
What we offer
  • Generous Leave: 25 days holiday (rising to 27 after year one and 30 after year two) + 8 bank holidays
  • Pension Matching: Up to 5% employer matching contributions.
  • Flexibility and Wellness: Work-from-home options, cycle-to-work scheme, and more.
  • Growth Opportunities: Collaborate across teams and represent Montu at events, with support to grow your skills and impact.
