Job description

Sky Garden, part of the Genuit Group, is a UK-based company specialising in the design, installation, and maintenance of green roofs, podiums, and other urban greening solutions. It provides sustainable landscaping systems and components for construction projects nationwide.

Our exceptional teams apply their first-class technical, customer service and manufacturing expertise to understand our customers’ needs and solve tomorrow’s water, climate and biodiversity challenges. Our loyal and highly skilled workforce are key to our success of delivering sustainable climate and water management solutions, everywhere.

Role Purpose

We’re looking for a commercially minded Product Manager to take ownership of a defined portfolio of products and drive their performance throughout the full product lifecycle.

This is a broad and influential role where you’ll turn category strategy into clear, actionable product plans. You’ll combine customer and market insight with commercial thinking to identify opportunities, optimise existing products and successfully bring new products to market.

Working cross-functionally with teams including Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Procurement and Supply Chain, you’ll help ensure our products are positioned effectively, meet the needs of our customers and deliver sustainable revenue growth, margin improvement and competitive differentiation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of assigned products, from introduction and growth through to rationalisation or withdrawal.
  • Translate category strategy into clear product plans, priorities and product roadmaps.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customers, applications, channels and routes to market, using insight to identify opportunities for product improvements, extensions and development.
  • Monitor product performance across sales, revenue, margin and product mix, providing insight and recommendations to improve results.
  • Lead New Product Development (NPD) projects, from defining product specifications and developing the business case through to launch and post-launch review.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure new products are delivered on time, within budget and to the required performance standards.
  • Develop compelling product value propositions and work with Marketing to support product launches, campaigns and sales enablement.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams, providing product expertise and helping to address performance gaps and support key customer opportunities.
  • Support pricing activity and identify opportunities to improve product cost, availability and working capital.
  • Maintain detailed product and technical knowledge, ensuring products meet relevant regulatory and certification requirements.
  • Take ownership of the quality and accuracy of product data, documentation and communications across internal and external platforms.
  • Build effective relationships across R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, influencing stakeholders to deliver against agreed priorities.
Key Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who can combine commercial awareness, customer insight and strong product management capability. You’ll ideally bring:

  • Previous experience within Product Management, Category Management, Product Marketing or a similar commercially focused role.
  • Experience managing products throughout their lifecycle and identifying opportunities to improve performance and profitability.
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to understand and interpret sales, revenue, margin and market data.
  • Experience supporting or leading new product development and successful product launches.
  • The ability to understand customer and market needs and translate these into commercially viable product propositions.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, particularly when working across different business functions.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to influence outcomes without direct authority.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn insight into practical recommendations.
  • The ability to develop detailed product knowledge and understand technical, regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to your portfolio.

Here at the Genuit Group we recognise and develop the contribution our people make to the Group’s success and are committed to attracting talent from the widest pool. We have a role to play in making the built environment more sustainable, building a low carbon business ourselves as well as delivering sustainable solutions at scale.
