Intelligent People is seeking a Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager for a fast-growth B2C fintech focused on international money transfers. You will own the product strategy, roadmap and delivery across the platform, collaborating with founders and multiple stakeholders to scale the business.

You will shape the end-to-end customer journey, improve conversion and usability, and drive new product features, markets and payment corridors.

Qualifications

Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager | B2C FinTech / Remittance | £60–100k | London / Birmingham

Working for a fast-growing B2C fintech business, the Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager will take ownership of the product strategy, roadmap and delivery across a digital cross-border money transfer platform.

This is a key product role, reporting directly to the founders, created as the business makes its first dedicated product hire and continues to scale.

The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager will lead the evolution of the existing mobile and web platform, improving the end-to-end international money transfer journey while supporting the launch of new products, features, markets and payment corridors.

The role will work closely with Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, Treasury and Customer Support to deliver commercially successful, customer-led and compliant products within a regulated B2C fintech environment.

The role can be based in London or Birmingham, with a hybrid working pattern of 2–3 days per week in the office.

The role offers a £60,000–£100,000 base salary, depending on experience, alongside a bonus, performance-linked equity and wider benefits package.

The Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager will:

• Own the product strategy, vision and roadmap across the core digital money transfer platform
• Take ownership of the end-to-end customer journey across registration, KYC, payment funding, international transfers, recipient payout and customer support
• Translate customer, market and commercial insight into a clear product direction aligned with wider company strategy
• Identify friction across the money transfer journey and improve conversion, usability, reliability and customer experience
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle across discovery, definition, development, launch, optimisation and iteration
• Gather customer and business requirements and translate them into clear product specifications, user stories and delivery priorities
• Manage and prioritise the product backlog within an Agile development environment
• Lead new feature delivery and third-party integrations across payment providers, banking partners, APIs and external partners
• Improve transfer and payment journeys, including transaction status, failed payments, refunds, notifications, error messaging and in-app guidance
• Work closely with Engineering to ensure product priorities are translated effectively into scalable technical delivery
• Partner with Compliance and Risk to ensure product development aligns with FCA, AML/CFT, KYC and wider regulatory requirements
• Work closely with Treasury and Operations across areas including FX, settlement, liquidity, transfer processing and payment corridors
• Use customer insight, product analytics and market trends to inform roadmap decisions and product priorities
• Support expansion into new markets and corridors, ensuring the platform can scale across currencies, funding methods and payout options
• Identify opportunities for AI and emerging technology to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
• Help establish the product processes, ways of working and product culture required as the company continues to scale

Candidates for the Product Manager / Senior Product Manager / Founding Product Manager role must have:

• Product Management experience gained within consumer remittance, international money transfer, an MSB or a closely comparable cross‑border payments business
• Experience owning or materially contributing to a B2C cross-border money transfer product
• Strong understanding of the international money transfer journey, including areas such as onboarding/KYC, funding methods, FX, transfer processing, corridors, recipient payout and transaction management
• Strong B2C Product Management experience across mobile and web products
• Experience owning product strategy, roadmap, prioritisation and end-to-end delivery
• Strong understanding of digital payments, payment journeys and payment APIs
• Experience working closely with Engineering teams to translate business and customer requirements into delivered products
• Strong customer journey and UX experience, with a track record of identifying and removing friction
• Experience managing product backlogs and delivering features within Agile environments
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams
• Experience working within a regulated financial services environment
• The ability to operate hands‑on within a small, scaling business with significant ownership and ambiguity
• Existing right to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship

Experience within UK–Africa remittance, mobile money, digital wallets, alternative payout methods or international market expansion would be highly advantageous.

Candidates whose experience is focused primarily on merchant acquiring, checkout optimisation, card‑processing infrastructure, B2B payments or general digital banking without direct consumer remittance exposure are unlikely to be suitable.
