Overview

Recruitment Consultant - Marketing & Insights. This role involves leading the full product strategy for a cross-border fintech platform within a major messaging platform, focusing on scaling wallet infrastructure, deepening open banking integrations, and expanding payment capabilities across APAC, EMEA, and Europe.

Location: London (Hybrid, 3 days/week) or Flexible within Europe
Reports to: VP of Product
Team: 5 PMs (UK, Philippines) + indirect cross-functional reports

This isn’t just another product leadership role. It’s a chance to build the next-generation fintech layer at scale, with startup energy and global impact.

The product is in a critical phase: scaling wallet infrastructure, expanding open banking integrations, and broadening payment capabilities across multiple regions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own and deliver product roadmap across wallet, P2P, QR, merchant and API features
• Align product vision with regulatory requirements, user needs, and commercial targets
• Drive launches into new geographies (Europe, APAC, EMEA)
• Expand product features to support merchant tools, card networks, and open banking
• Work hand-in-hand with engineering, legal, compliance, marketing, and data
• Balance innovation with complex regulation and infrastructure constraints
• Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing global product team
• Coach PMs at varying levels across the UK, Eastern Europe, and Southeast Asia

Who We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience

• 7+ years in product leadership roles (Director or above)
• Proven success in fintech, digital wallets, payments, or open banking environments
• Experience launching products across multiple markets with regulatory oversight
• Deep familiarity with compliance, fraud, and financial security in B2C fintech

Nice to Have

• Exposure to early-stage fintech scale-up
• Experience working with issuer/acquirer integrations or merchant services
• Understanding of Visa/Mastercard enablement, fraud systems, or financial APIs
