Now, we’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to help us continue that legacy by driving innovation and growth in our performance products category for Marshalls Landscapes.

Mission

Reporting to the Product Portfolio Lead, you'll analyse market intelligence, customer insights, and emerging industry trends to shape the future of our performance products category. Understanding market needs and trends is at the heart of this role. You'll ensure Marshalls stays ahead of the curve. Your ability to identify new product opportunities and translate insights into actionable strategies will be key to maintaining our market‑leading position.

Managing the full lifecycle of our products, you'll ensure they remain competitive, relevant, and profitable. Working closely with R&D, manufacturing and supply chain teams, you'll develop and refine our product range. Leading regular range reviews, you'll identify opportunities for rationalisation or innovation, ensuring our portfolio continues to meet evolving customer and market demands.

Strong collaboration across the business is essential. You'll partner with others to ensure product quality, and drive new product development. Supporting sales and marketing, you'll provide data‑driven insights that ensure our product messaging aligns with customer expectations. Additionally, you'll work cross‑functionally with operations, finance, and commercial teams to optimise pricing strategies and drive efficiencies.

To ensure ongoing success, you'll continuously monitor sales, profitability, and product performance, using data analytics to inform strategic decision‑making. By creating insightful reports and dashboards, you'll provide the business with a clear view of category health, identifying areas for growth and improvement.

Qualifications
  • A degree (or equivalent) in business, marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Proven, previous experience in product or category management, with a track record of driving commercial success.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience interpreting market data and identifying trends.
  • A deep understanding of supply chains, procurement, and product development.
  • Experience working with B2B and B2C buying processes, specification requirements, and industry regulations.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Experience in the construction or building materials industry would be incredibly desirable.
Benefits
  • Guaranteed Christmas holidays
  • 34 days per annum or the equivalent in hours (inclusive of bank holidays)
  • Car allowance
  • Health care cash plan – support with dental, optical, prescription costs and many more!
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay and leave
  • 5% employer matched pension scheme
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Employee discount on Marshalls and Marley products
  • Retailer discounts
  • Marshalls wellbeing centre – move, money & mind
  • Share purchase scheme
  • Life assurance
