Job summary

Allstate NI in Belfast is seeking a Product Engineer for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to lead the development and adoption of enterprise-scale automation. You will design, build, and productize reusable infrastructure solutions enabling code-based provisioning across platforms.

The role emphasizes CI/CD, security, and governance with collaboration across platform, security, networking, and application teams. Hybdrid working options are available to suit the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and engineering practices.
• Experience with collaborative pair programming to solve technical challenges.
• Proven ability to design and implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, identity management, and platform services.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise IaC strategy, standards, governance, and adoption roadmap.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable infrastructure automation solutions.
• Build reusable modules, templates, blueprints, and self-service automation.
• Develop automation using Ansible, Terraform/OpenTofu, Puppet, and related tools.
• Drive CI/CD, security, compliance, testing, and deployment automation for infrastructure delivery.
• Collaborate with platform teams to accelerate IaC adoption and productize infrastructure capabilities.
• Create documentation and enablement materials for IaC tooling and pipelines.
