Newell Brands Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to transform ideas into launch-ready products under the Breville brand and other global brands.

You will lead the engineering side of NPDS, translating insights into technical specs, and ensuring performance, quality, and cost targets are met. The role is part of a broader R&D team and supports cross-functional collaboration across PM, Marketing, Industrial Design, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory and Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Plastics, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in product development, manufacturing, or engineering environment.
• Practical experience with prototyping, design validation, testing, and engineering problem-solving.

Responsabilités

• Develop innovative products that meet customer needs, financial goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead multiple new product development projects through Newell's Stage-Gate process, defining timelines and milestones.
• Create engineering specifications and lead DFMEA, DVP&R, and quality specs.
• Develop test plans and validate designs with internal/external labs; review PPAP docs and implement improvements.
• Prepare and review ENC s; lead design reviews and CAD model/drawing reviews with cross-functional teams.
• Create basic CAD models using AI-assisted design tools to evaluate ideas quickly.
• Perform IP searches and coordinate with legal for IP clearance and patent applications.
• Analyze competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reduction.
• Assess safety, manufacturability, and reliability; drive product and process improvements.
