Job summary

SharkNinja in London is seeking a Director of New Product Development to own a Ninja core product category from concept to commercial launch. This on-site role demands strategic thinking, technical depth, and strong people leadership across Marketing, Design, Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, and global partners in the UK, US and China.

You will lead end-to-end NPD programs, manage resources, and ensure on-time, on-cost commercialization.

Qualifications

• Experience leading stage-gate product development from concept through mass production.
• Strong leadership and people management across multiple locations.
• Ability to drive complex programs with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for executive alignment.
• Experience working with manufacturing partners and tooling, pilot runs, and ramp.

Responsibilities

• Own end to end execution of NPD programs, from design freeze through pilot, validation, and mass production launch.
• Partner closely with Marketing to align product requirements, positioning, and launch timing with the Ninja roadmap.
• Lead and inspire a team of engineers focused on disciplined product development, DFM/DFA, and launch readiness.
• Allocate resources across multiple concurrent NPD programs and establish clear priorities to protect critical path milestones.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of programs at varying stages of development, from early engineering through to full commercialization.
