Job summary

TORTUS AI is hiring a product-minded engineer to join one of our squads (AVT, Frontier, Foundation, Lifeboat) and own meaningful surface area from day one. You’ll build features across the stack in a fast-moving, regulated healthtech environment.

Collaborate with product and design to translate concepts into high-quality product while elevating our compliance posture with ISO standards. Expect an office-based role at Holborn, with a culture focused on transforming healthcare through AI-driven

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of full-stack experience.
• Strong product instincts; focus on why as well as how.
• Frontend excellence: React and TypeScript.
• Backend proficiency: Node.js/NestJS or Python/FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and patterns.
• Experience translating designs into high-quality product.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship product features across the full stack in a regulated healthtech environment.
• Consume infrastructure via Foundation Squad Terraform modules and patterns.
• Collaborate with product and design across squads.
• Contribute to engineering quality and compliance posture (ISO 27001, ISO 13485).
