Job summary

Asda is seeking a Product Development Manager for BWS, Soft Drinks & Seasonal Confec to ensure quality and launch excellence across the category.

You'll work with suppliers to meet quality, labeling, nutrition and regulatory standards, driving innovation, cost-savings and product development within chilled categories. The role requires collaboration with trading teams and cross-functional partners, with a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Gained experience in a food manufacturing, food retailing or food technology environment.
• Food/nutrition-based degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong awareness of customer requirements, market trends and competitor ranges.

Responsibilities

• Ensure category delivers against quality benchmarks and complies with labeling and regulatory standards.
• Drive innovation, cost-saving and product development across chilled categories.
• Maintain launch timelines and conduct category product reviews with trading teams.
• Ensure supplier compliance with Asda policies through the product development process.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver on broader business objectives.
