Job summary

Asda, based at Asda House in Leeds, is seeking a Product Development Manager for Biscuits and Snacks in Impulse Grocery. You will lead from the front, drive category development, ensure quality and label compliance, and work with suppliers to deliver innovative products.

You will manage launches, cost-saving initiatives, and cross-functional projects, with a hybrid working pattern allowing up to 2 days remote per week.

Qualifications

Experience in a dynamic retail environment delivering innovative product ranges.
Strong understanding of quality and labelling requirements within food products.
Degree in food/nutrition or equivalent qualification.
Knowledge of customer requirements and market trends.

Responsibilities

Lead product development across Biscuits and Snacks in Impulse Grocery.
Ensure quality benchmarks and compliance with labelling and nutrition regulations.
Drive innovation, cost-saving and development across categories.
Manage category launches, reviews and customer briefs with trading teams.
Collaborate cross-functionally to meet broader business objectives.
