Job summary

Greencore in Selby is seeking a Product Developer on a 15 month FTC to create and improve recipes in line with customer briefs, consumer expectations and commercial objectives, ensuring products are scalable and high quality.

You will lead product costings, assess new ingredients, manage feasibility, and coordinate with Commercial, Operations, Purchasing and Technical teams to support successful launches and updates across the Aldi Ready Meals portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience in food product development, ideally in FMCG.
• Experience taking products from concept to launch.
• Strong costings and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and existing recipes into commercially viable products.
• Benchmark market trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
• Create and maintain recipes with cost, nutrition, and weight data.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Purchasing and Technical teams to support launches.
• Produce product costings and adapt recipes to meet targets.
• Support factory trials and scale-up activities.
