Job summary

Citi seeks a Product Developer to join its Counterparty Credit Risk team, serving as the bridge between Technology and Risk stakeholders to deliver Loans Stress Loss analysis and reporting capabilities.

You will validate exposure data, identify root causes of movements with underwriters and desks, and drive improvements to risk reporting systems, data quality and model outputs while ensuring timely delivery and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Technology Finance.
• Proficiency in Tableau, Python and Excel, applied to data investigation, exposure analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to conduct business analysis, troubleshoot data quality issues, and perform both exploratory and descriptive analysis of complex financial datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and validate total outstanding and unused committed credit exposure, along with Loans Stress Loss figures.
• Identify root causes of exposure movements and collaborate with underwriters and desks to verify findings.
• Investigate irregular changes in exposure data and coordinate with teams to diagnose issues spanning collateral, bookings, data quality, and model outputs.
• Partner with stakeholders to improve systems related to Loans Stress Loss, gather requirements, and coordinate testing.
• Identify and recommend solutions across data analytics, reporting, and trade workflows to improve operational effectiveness.
