Job summary

Citi Belfast is seeking a strategic VP Product Owner to define and execute end-to-end product vision for wholesale credit & risk data domains. You will align enterprise strategies with engineering delivery, partner with risk, product and technology teams, and shape data capabilities across business lines.

Qualifications

• Ability to connect macro-level enterprise strategy to micro-level engineering delivery.
• Experience in product development, credit risk, or technology roles ideally in banking.
• Credit Risk knowledge & experience.
• Data & Analytics, and data visualization / business intelligence knowledge & experience.
• Experience in end-to-end project delivery, with knowledge of analytical tools for visualization (e.g. Tableau) and an ability to manipulate data using SQL and/or Python.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
• A proactive and self-motivated approach to managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Keen attention to detail and process/analytic mindset.
• Project Management skills with experience leading large cross functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify opportunities to enhance products and processes to improve efficiency and decision-making.
• Identify data patterns & trends, and provide insights to business stakeholders.
• Interact with Risk, Product & Technology to distil long term vision, industry trends, and incorporate them into the product & solutions strategy.

Job description

The Team sit within Citi’s Enterprise Data Office and have a focus on serving our business partners within ICM. Institutional Credit Management (ICM) aims to provide integrated “end-to-end” credit underwriting, and management of risks for wholesale credit businesses across the enterprise.

This data and product development role will help shape the portfolio, limits & collateral target state process, data & capabilities across business lines, through engagement with 1st line teams, technology & individual business product teams.

The candidate will serve as a strategic product leader accountable for defining, executing, and scaling end-to-end product vision across high-impact business domains.

Operating with an enterprise mindset, the VP Product Owner bridges business strategy, customer needs, architecture, and engineering execution.

What you’ll do
