Opportunity for a Product Developer

A great opportunity for a Product Developer to join a growing online retailer & B2B business in the Leeds area. They provide high-quality apparel to their customers. Due to growth, they are seeking another Product Developer to join the team.

Job Description
  1. Liaising with UK-based and offshore suppliers/factories.
  2. Advising on fit, costings, size charts, quality control, fabrics, and grading.
  3. Organising red and gold seals from the initial design stage of samples.
  4. Quality control of embroidery, logos, colour matching, and dye matching threads.
  5. Attending weekly meetings with other departments including merchandisers, buyers, school relation team, and customer services.
  6. Completing weekly fit sessions of new products and filling out QA forms, advising on improvements.
  7. Building close relationships with suppliers through factory visits, online, and in-person meetings.
  8. Producing technical flats (CADs) using Adobe Illustrator.
  9. Creating size guides for the website, quality checking bulk orders, and organizing samples for bulk production.

  4. Highly organized, methodical, and process-driven.
  5. Passionate about delivering high standards in all projects.
  6. Experience working with offshore suppliers and a solid understanding of critical paths.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
