Job summary

Spruce is building a platform to transform heat pump installation journeys for installers and homeowners. You’ll design complex, data-driven experiences and craft intuitive, scalable solutions that simplify technical processes for diverse users.

The role involves collaborating with developers, shipping PRs, and shaping the design system while engaging with installers to validate decisions. A 3+ year track record in product/UI design in fast-paced teams is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product/UI design experience.
• Startup or fast-paced, impact-focused environment preferred.
• User-obsessed, able to understand users and solve their problems.

Responsibilities

• Design across multiple touchpoints including desktop tools, homeowner-facing outputs, enquiry flows, mobile survey apps, and collaborative workflows.
• Collaborate with developers and ship code by contributing design that respects data structures and constraints.
• Build scalable design systems with reusable components for both low-tech users and high-tech platforms.
• Research with installers to identify core problems and validate designs through quick prototypes.
