Role: Product Designer

Location: London

Hybrid Mode

You’ll have a strong passion for the user-centred design process, leading user research and discovery, working with business requirements, and helping to define new product and feature solutions. You will be the voice of design expertise through facilitation of workshops and user interviews, from concept sketching, wireframing, prototyping, to testing your solutions.

Working closely with product owners and development teams, you will advocate for the user at all times, ensuring that all work is client-centred. You should have successfully designed and delivered complex enterprise applications at large scale, combining strategic thinking with hands-on, detail-oriented UX design.

Your Role

You Will

• Strategize, conceptualize, and design new products and features across multiple product teams.
• Conduct user research and synthesize complex business and user needs into tangible design solutions, bringing a product concept to life quickly.
• Plan and facilitate workshops during the design process to align the product vision and gather all necessary requirements, such as journey mapping, concept exploration, storyboarding, or other methods.
• Build prototypes to communicate journey flow and interaction details, which can also be used for testing and validation with end-users.
• Be comfortable sketching and wireframing design solutions, as well as creating UI and data visualizations that are visually appealing and compelling.
• Contribute interaction design patterns and components to our Design System and advocate for consistency and re-use across digital products.

Your Team

You will join a highly skilled, expert design team delivering top-tier experience solutions for complex financial digital applications. Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineers, and data scientists in cross-functional teams, and help foster a creative, client-led team culture.

Your Expertise

You Will Have

• At least 6 years of experience designing user-centred digital products and enterprise applications, ideally in financial services.
• A strong portfolio and a clear, articulate user-centred design process.
• Experience conducting detailed user research and working closely with users and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain the rationale behind your designs.
• Strategic thinking demonstrated in client projects and experience running creative workshops within continuous design sprints.
• Experience with agile methodologies and integrating design with product delivery teams.
• Obsessive attention to detail, from storytelling and clarity of communication to detailed wireframes and prototypes.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with Figma.
