A leading company in the automotive industry is seeking a Product Design Engineer to contribute to innovative product development. The role involves creating manufacturable designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and experience with automotive OEMs.
OBJECTIVE:
The Product Design Engineer will contribute to the successful development and delivery of innovative, high-quality automotive products by leveraging advanced design skills, cross-functional collaboration, and customer-focused engineering solutions. The role involves transforming customer requirements into manufacturable designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance expectations.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing duties, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The environment can be loud and not temperature-controlled, with potential exposure to high heat conditions.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands include regularly talking or hearing, frequently standing, walking, using hands, and reaching. Occasionally, the employee must sit, climb, balance, or stoop. The role requires lifting up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
