Job summary

Legl is building the operating system for modern legal services. This analytics engineer role focuses on modelling the data warehouse, building robust dbt pipelines in Snowflake, and enabling self-serve analytics across Finance, Sales, CS and Product.

You will define metrics, contribute to the semantic layer, and ensure data quality and governance while working with AI tooling for modelling and investigations.

Qualifications

• Analytics engineer with strong SQL and data modelling fundamentals, including dimensional design, slowly changing dimensions and incremental patterns.
• Hands-on dbt experience in a cloud data warehouse, and ability to review SQL in PRs.
• Familiarity with AI tooling in modelling, review and investigation; safe use is essential.

Responsibilities

• Model the warehouse: develop dbt models, sources, tests, and docs across a layered architecture.
• Collaborate with Product to ensure new features emit correct data in models from day one.
• Define metrics and contribute to the semantic layer so KPIs align across boards, dashboards and AI responses.
