Job summary

Lyst, a London-founded global fashion platform, is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the central Data Platform team. You will build and optimise data pipelines, model data for features, and enable AI-driven insights across product and commercial questions.

You will work with Snowflake, dbt, Omni and Looker to deliver reliable data, empower teams, and drive scalable analytics as we expand AI capabilities across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL and data modelling experience across large datasets.
• Experience with dbt and data modelling; eager to improve.
• Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritise and automate repetitive tasks.
• Experience with a BI tool such as Omni or Looker.
• Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining well-modelled data pipelines across Lyst data and use cases.
• Partnering with your squad in the customer experience tribe to model data behind features.
• Raise data quality and testing standards with engineers and the data platform.
• Maintain and optimise our warehouse and BI tooling to reduce complexity, cost, and time to answer.
• Build models and semantic layer for trustworthy AI and end-user queries.
• Develop and implement best practices: automation, testing, metadata, data design.
• Review code and support other teams on data ingestion and modelling.
• Help deliver our wider data strategy including AI in the data platform.
• Bridge gaps between data creation and usage and define data relationships.
