Job summary

Retelligence is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to own our cloud data platform, building a robust Snowflake Lakehouse and integrating data from internal and external sources. You’ll lead raw ingestion, dbt modeling, and deliver optimized semantic layers for reporting.

You’ll design medallion architectures, implement data governance under FCA and GDPR, and partner with Trading, Finance, Risk, and Compliance to enable fast, compliant analytics using Power BI and DAX.

Qualifications

• Fintech or financial services experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Snowflake data environment across data ingestion and modeling.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines from trading systems, CRM, risk engines, and financial databases.
• Design medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) for analytics and regulatory needs.
• Implement data orchestration, testing, versioning, and lineage.
• Create semantic models on Snowflake using Power BI and DAX.
• Deliver dashboards and data extracts for business teams.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance (FCA, GDPR).
• Tune Snowflake performance and manage warehouses and storage.
• Collaborate with Trading, Finance, Marketing, Risk, and Compliance teams.
