Job summary

Zapp, London’s premier premium convenience platform, seeks a Manager, Category Management / Buying (Produce) to lead the Produce range and supplier relationships. You will drive quality, price and availability for London’s best catalogue, pushing for innovative ranges and seasonal accuracy.

In this fast-paced role you’ll turn data into action, partner with Marketing and Supply Chain, and own the calendar of seasonal offerings to keep Zapp ahead of the curve.

Qualifications

• Experience in Category Management or Buying, ideally in Fresh/Produce or a fast-moving category.
• Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making.
• Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace or Excel; BI tools a plus.
• Curiosity about food and produce quality, and seasonality awareness.
• High energy, detail-oriented, and capable of proactive supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the Produce section: range, quality, price and supplier relationships.
• Trial new ranges ahead of the market and back products that show strong potential.
• Stay ahead of seasonality and plan what lands each season.
• Negotiate cost, delivery and payment terms with suppliers while ensuring freshness.
• Turn data into action by analyzing sales, waste, and gaps to improve the range.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising and Supply Chain to align availability and storytelling.
