Job summary

Zapp, London’s leading premium convenience platform, seeks a Director of Supply Chain to drive growth by building a scalable, automation‑driven supply chain. You will own Zeppelin, advance forecasting, and reduce manual work while maintaining high availability for perishable goods.

You will lead a new team, define KPIs, and partner with Commercial, Tech and Finance to enable rapid range, launches and accelerated growth in London.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading a Supply Chain, Inventory or Planning function in high‑volume, perishable categories.
• Proven track record managing short shelf‑life inventory with daily replenishment.
• Experience building forecasting and automation systems to unlock growth.
• Strong data fluency and ability to challenge models (SQL, BI tools).
• Ambition to scale a function and manage cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management across Commercial, Tech, Ops and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a Supply Chain team that scales with Zapp's growth.
• Set KPIs and targets for the function and drive accountability.
• Own and extend Zeppelin: forecasting, safety stock and FC allocation.
• Lead automation to reduce manual work and free time for growth.
• Know SKUs, suppliers and routes to drive timely decisions.
• Set availability and waste strategies for the growing catalogue.
• Negotiate to maximise margin and optimise working capital.
• Partner with Commercial, Tech and Finance to enable rapid range and launches.
