Job summary

Arcus Search is seeking a proactive Procurement Specialist to join a leading investment organisation in London. The role starts hands-on, handling procurement requests from raise to contract progression, PO creation and completion.

As you develop, there will be opportunities to support broader sourcing and strategic procurement activity. You will act as a main contact for stakeholders, onboarding suppliers, coordinating contracts with Legal and Finance, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end procurement processes for internal stakeholders.
• Proven ability to onboard suppliers and conduct due diligence.
• Knowledge of contract progression and purchase order creation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and guide them through procurement.
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and complete due diligence.
• Coordinate contract progression with Legal, Procurement and business stakeholders.
• Manage purchase order creation and assist with invoice processing as needed.
• Maintain accurate supplier records across internal systems and track milestones.
• Ensure procurement and finance processes are followed consistently.

We are working with a leading investment organisation that combines capital, technology and operational expertise to build and support businesses across a range of areas. The firm operates in a fast paced environment with a strong focus on technology, operational improvement and continued growth.

They are looking for a proactive Procurement Specialist to join the team, supporting a significant increase in procurement activity across the business.

The role will initially be very hands on, taking ownership of procurement requests from the point they are raised through to contract progression, purchase order creation and completion. As the role develops, there will be opportunity to support broader sourcing and more strategic procurement activity.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, understanding requirements and guiding them through the procurement process
• Support the onboarding of new suppliers, ensuring the appropriate processes and due diligence are completed
• Coordinate contract progression alongside Legal, Procurement and business stakeholders
• Manage purchase order creation and support invoice processing where required
• Maintain accurate supplier and procurement records across internal systems
• Track procurement activity, vendor status and key milestones, providing clear updates to stakeholders
• Ensure procurement and finance processes are followed consistently
• Support sourcing and supplier engagement activity as required
• Help identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, systems and ways of working
• Build strong relationships across the business and ensure requests are progressed efficiently

The role combines procurement, stakeholder management and project coordination, so they are looking for someone who is proactive, communicates well and is comfortable taking ownership of work and seeing it through to completion.

The role is based in London with an expectation of three days per week in the office.
