Job Description

We’re recruiting a Sourcing Specialist for a 12-month FTC, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Our Group Procurement team launched a 3-year transformation strategy in 2023, investing in people and systems to establish a Procurement Centre of Excellence at L&G, embedding category management and innovative sourcing strategies to become a strategic partner for the business.

This role involves executing sourcing activities to maximize value and manage risks, supporting stakeholders across the organization.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing requisition queues and purchase order approvals
• Conducting spend analysis to identify anomalies and opportunities
• Planning and executing sourcing activities
• Producing reports and MI accurately and timely
• Maintaining records per requirements and standards
• Handling new procurement inquiries as the first point of contact
• Providing professional support to internal stakeholders
• Ensuring sourcing activities comply with Consumer Duty accountability

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience in Marketing, HR, or Legal sourcing is advantageous but not essential
• Confident issue resolution and escalation skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in report and presentation creation
• Numerate with data analysis capabilities
• Experience with sourcing systems and practices preferred
• Attention to detail and workload prioritization skills
