Job summary

David Harber in Oxfordshire seeks a Buyer/Procurement & Operations professional to own procurement, supplier relationships and materials stock for luxury, bespoke sculptures and features.

You’ll work closely with design and workshop teams to ensure right materials are available at the right time and cost, while supporting Sage 200 ERP implementation and continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement within bespoke production or luxury goods environments.
• Strong negotiation, cost control and supplier management skills.
• Ability to coordinate materials planning with design and workshop teams.
• Experience improving purchasing processes and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing across specialist materials and subcontracted services.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and lead times with suppliers.
• Monitor quality, expenditure and supply risks for craftspeople.
• Oversee stock accuracy, materials planning and logistics.
