Qualifications

• Experience buying raw materials and components for manufacturing or bespoke production.
• Not a retail buying role; focus on materials, not finished goods.
• Ability to coordinate with design, workshop, sales and finance.
• ERP implementation and stock control experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead purchasing across specialist materials and subcontracted services.
• Build dependable supplier relationships with favorable terms and lead times.
• Monitor quality, supplier performance, expenditure and risks.
• Ensure right materials are available at right time and cost for production.
• Support Sage 200 ERP implementation and process improvements.
• Lead two direct reports and help develop the wider operations function.
