Position Details

Shifts are Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. This is a permanent role based at the company's Dungannon office. The position offers growth opportunities and a competitive salary (negotiable) plus additional benefits.

Responsibilities

1. Procurement Process: Manage and approve procurement activities for subcontractors, materials, and plant, focusing on delivery, cost, and quality.
2. Enquiry Packages: Prepare comprehensive enquiry packages aligned with project schedules.
3. Evaluations: Compare quotations, evaluate against budgets, and issue orders to the most advantageous suppliers.
4. Supplier Payments: Approve invoices for payment.
5. Market Knowledge: Develop market knowledge, identify potential suppliers/subcontractors, and explore value engineering opportunities.
6. Tendering: Support the Commercial department with tender processes and post-tender inquiries.
7. Site Support: Assist site teams with material take-offs and supplier information.

The Ideal Person

1. Knowledge: Third-level qualification in a related area, with knowledge of building materials, products, and suppliers.
2. Experience: At least 2 years of proven experience as a Buyer or Procurement Specialist within the construction industry.
