Job summary

Herts Resourcing Group invites applications for a Procurement Manager at our Ware Campus. This role oversees the end-to-end procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to meet operational needs.

We require GCSE English/Maths at grade C or above, and CIPS Level 4 qualification, plus proven procurement experience. The position is on-site Monday-Friday with a DBS clearance as part of the appointment.

Qualifications

• Educated to GCSE standard with English & Maths at least Grade C.
• CIPS Level 4 qualification or higher.
• Proven experience as Procurement Manager or in a similar procurement role.
• Experience in supplier relationship management, public contracts and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to support college goals.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers with market research and analysis.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to optimise terms and minimise risks.
• Monitor market trends to identify cost savings and improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet procurement requirements.
