Job summary

Benjamin-Grace is recruiting an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee procurement across a major UK operation, driving strategy, supplier relationships, contracts and cost performance in civils, infrastructure, construction or engineering projects.

Reporting to the Head of UK, you will develop procurement strategy, manage suppliers and subcontractors, negotiate terms, monitor KPIs and deliver long-term cost savings while leading the procurement function.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in procurement within civils, construction, infrastructure, engineering or a similar environment.
• Strong experience managing suppliers, subcontractors and vendor relationships.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Procurement Manager to take responsibility for procurement across a major UK operation.

This is a key role for a commercially minded procurement professional with a strong civils, infrastructure, construction or engineering background, who can take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier relationships, contracts and cost performance across a complex operational environment.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of UK, you will be responsible for:

• Strong experience managing suppliers, subcontractors and vendor relationships.

• Excellent commercial negotiation and contract management skills.

• Experience developing procurement strategies and delivering measurable cost savings.

• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across technical, project and operational teams.

• Previous experience managing or leading people.

• Good understanding of procurement risk, compliance and Health & Safety requirements.

• Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

• A proactive, decisive and commercially focused approach.

• Good IT skills.

• A degree-level qualification is desirable, but not essential where the candidate can demonstrate strong relevant procurement and commercial experience.

• Full UK driving licence.
