Are you a Procurement Manager who wants the opportunity to shape a function rather than simply maintain one?
This is an opportunity to join a growing business where procurement is becoming increasingly important to future growth. You will have the scope to develop procurement strategy, strengthen supplier relationships and improve commercial performance.
With a salary of £45,000 - £52,000, an early Friday finish, discretionary bonus, private healthcare benefits and the opportunity to influence senior stakeholders, this is a role with genuine scope to make an impact.
What you'll be doing As Procurement Manager, you will take the existing purchasing operation forward, moving the function from reactive buying towards a more proactive and commercially focused approach.
This position would suit an established Procurement Manager, Purchasing Manager or Supply Chain Manager who has moved beyond transactional purchasing and can demonstrate a strategic and commercially focused approach.
Experience of inventory management, ERP or procurement systems, supplier KPIs, international logistics or strong procurement data analysis would also be beneficial.
You'll receive a salary of £45,000 - £52,000 depending on experience, alongside:
Working hours are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am - 2:30pm Friday, based in Scarborough. Occasional business travel will form part of the position.
Most importantly, you'll be joining at a point where you can have a real influence on how procurement develops. Rather than inheriting a finished function, you'll have the opportunity to build on what's already there, develop the team and create a more strategic procurement operation as the business continues to grow.
