This is a full-time on-site role located in Liskeard as a Sales and Procurement Manager. The Sales and Procurement Manager will be responsible for supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills, procurement, and contract management on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities include directing, managing, and motivating all stores personnel, encouraging teamwork within the department and the wider business. Oversee all procurement and sales of parts throughout the company.
Assist with procedures and processes related to aircraft teardowns, storage, preservation, and part sales within the Part 145 regulatory environment.
Develop procedures and processes to ensure all Stores at various locations are Part 145 compliant and meet regulatory standards.
Serve as a point of contact for all Stores, Logistics, and Procurement inquiries during working hours and, when appropriate, out of hours. Delegation of tasks can be considered.
Organise training for Stores personnel, including Aerotrac, Part 145, and documentation such as Form 1/8130/TC.
Liaise with customers, suppliers, and logistics support companies.
Develop and maintain procedures to ensure stock levels of aircraft spares are appropriate across all bases.
Ensure timely progress chasing for procurement and delivery of goods and spares.
Ensure calibration of tooling is performed within required timescales and properly documented.
Record and accept new tools and equipment, including calibration details.
Organise third-party companies for maintenance and hanger activities, ensuring proper records and documentation.
Implement systems to optimise logistics operations, including customs clearance, transport, receipt, and dispatch of goods.
Visit third-party companies, customers, and sites as needed to develop business relations.
Conduct management reviews and follow up on audit findings to improve procedures related to stores and logistics.
