Job summary

Community Integrated Care in Widnes is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to shape policy, drive value for money and ensure compliance across a multi-site charity.

You'll lead governance, supplier performance, SLAs and KPIs, with regional travel; attendance at head office weekly. Join an award-winning charity focused on delivering the best lives possible and career development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a procurement leadership or category management role.
• Experience within a large, complex, multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK procurement legislation, governance and best practice.
• Experience developing supplier management and procurement frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Developing and embedding procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives to simplify and strengthen procurement processes.
• Managing supplier due diligence, onboarding and compliance activities.
• Developing and maintaining key supplier and contract databases.
• Supporting contract managers with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Providing commercial advice on supplier contracts in partnership with Legal colleagues.
• Monitoring supplier performance to ensure agreed service, quality and invoicing standards are achieved.
• Conducting procurement audits and compliance reviews.
• Producing insightful reports on supplier spend, value for money, risk, and compliance for senior stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with procurement regulations and legislative requirements, including Modern Slavery, Anti-Bribery, Corruption and Fraud legislation.
• Leading and developing a Procurement Specialist, supporting performance, growth and development.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and influencing positive procurement practices.
