Procurement Lead

£40,000 – £45,000 + 33 days Holiday + Company Benefits + Progression

Do you have a background in procurement, purchasing or similar? Are you looking to take the next step in your career in a newly created role where you can make a real impact at an expanding industry leading business where you will head the department?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer producing high performance suspension systems for the motorsport, automotive, motorcycle and specialist vehicle industries. The company is experiencing continued growth due to high demand and is looking for a procurement lead to take ownership of purchasing, supplier management and strategy to create a more controlled procurement process.

In this role, you will take ownership of day to day procurement operations, supplier management, purchasing control and improving the procurement process. You will review new and existing suppliers ensuring the business is buying the best quality products at the right price from reliable suppliers.

This role would suit someone with a background in procurement, purchasing or similar looking for a varied Monday to Friday role within an industry leading specialist manufacturer?

The Role:

• Take ownership of day to day procurement operations, liaise with clients review new and current suppliers
• Working with Production, Engineering, Stores, Operations, and global suppliers
