Job summary

Worthing-based manufacturing business is looking for an experienced Supply Chain / Procurement Lead to own purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control and supply planning, ensuring materials are available to support production and customer demand.

Working with production, sales and engineering, you'll manage supplier performance, identify efficiency gains, reduce costs and minimise supply risks in a hands-on role where your ideas will make a real impact.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control and supply planning to support production and customer demand.
• Collaborate with production, sales and engineering to keep operations running smoothly; manage supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Supply Chain & Procurement Lead

Worthing | Monday–Friday | £40,000–£50,000 + Excellent Benefits

Exciting opportunity to join a successful and growing manufacturing business in a key supply chain role.

We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain / Procurement professional to take ownership of purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control and supply planning, ensuring materials are available to support production and customer demand.

Working closely with production, sales and engineering, you'll play an important role in keeping operations running smoothly, managing supplier performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs and minimise supply risks. This is a hands‑on position where your experience and ideas will genuinely make a difference.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years' experience in purchasing or supply chain, preferably within a manufacturing environment, with strong supplier negotiation skills and experience using ERP/MRP systems and Excel. A technical or component-based manufacturing background would be advantageous, along with a practical, organised and proactive approach.
