Job summary

Avidity Science is seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join the Operations team at our Long Crendon facility in Buckinghamshire. This full-time hybrid role focuses on planning and procurement of materials to sustain production, customer projects and service delivery.

Ideal candidates will be organised, analytical and proactive, with experience in purchasing, ERP systems and inventory planning. Hybrid working pattern and UK eligibility to work are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B environments, preferably Life Sciences or lab equipment.
• Experience sourcing materials for production lines or manufacturing facilities.
• Experience supporting purchasing, procurement, inventory planning, or supply chain activities.
• Experience using ERP systems and working with inventory data.

Responsibilities

• Plan the supply of production inventory inputs and inventory requirements to support service delivery.
• Raise and follow up on purchase orders in line with inventory demand.
• Raise purchase orders for wider business requirements as needed.
• Resolve queries relating to purchase orders with Finance and other departments.
• Set up new parts within the ERP system.
• Collaborate with Operations Delivery Manager to ensure uninterrupted supply to production.
• Support Warehouse with stocktakes and adherence to company policy.
• Assist supplier management, reporting and data analysis.
