Job summary

John Lewis Partnership in Bracknell is seeking a Procurement Excellence Manager to own and drive procurement excellence across policies, governance, third-party risk and SRM, using data-driven insights to reduce GNFR spend and improve resilience.

You will partner with the Procurement Leadership team to set strategy, champion best practices, and deliver cross-functional initiatives that raise performance and value for customers.

Qualifications

• Extensive procurement, risk management and SRM experience.
• Demonstrable experience in supplier relationship management and/or third party risk management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, policy and process.
• Proven ability to apply CI principles and drive improvements.
• Strong stakeholder relationship skills to push initiatives forward.
• Ability to influence and shape decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance the Procurement function in collaboration with the leadership team.
• Inform strategic direction and priorities using external benchmarking.
• Drive evolution of third party risk management and SRM frameworks.
• Support development of procurement capability through process improvements.
• Ensure procurement policies and governance are compliant across GNFR spend.
• Deliver policy and compliance programs and monitor performance.
• Lead and develop the procurement team and manage people.
